We’re extremely thrilled to announce that our Product Development Services team will now go by the name of SolarisLab, a bold rebrand decision made to increase the visibility of the service and gain more autonomy as one of the key branches of the parent company, Solaris Offgrid.
SolarisLab comprises a team of engineers with vast experience in the design of electronic products oriented to inclusive energy access around the world, constantly devoted to walking manufacturers across all industries to bring successful essential products to life, from idea to market.
Throughout their journey so far, they’ve had the honour to work alongside pioneering manufacturers such as Victron, BioLite and Bluetti, among others, and have been supported by open-source advocates Enaccess, as well as inclusive energy promoters Efficiency for Access, in different challenges and missions. Our engineers are now aiming at expanding their reach to help more manufacturers push the limits of efficiency and sustainability. A Team Familiar with Success
Behind the outstanding talent that makes up SolarisLab, you will find the creators of the OpenPAYGO Token and the complementary tools that integrate the OpenPAYGO Suite (OpenPAYGO Link, OpenPAYGO Metrics, and the soon-to-come OpenPAYGO Pass), Solaris Offgrid’s renowned ecosystem of Open-Source tools, widely praised by Paygo product manufacturers and distributors for helping them reduce costs and bring innovations faster to the end user.
Among other achievements and accolades, the team is currently developing the next generation of smart batteries, under the Solaris Offgrid Smart Battery (SOSB) project, which was recently awarded the Seal of Excellence by the European Commision for the value it brings to the clean energy sector and the timeliness of the innovation.
