The SolarisLab product design process emphasises user-centricity and scalability. We conduct extensive market research and user needs analysis to inform our design decisions, as well as engaging in iterative prototyping and testing.
At each of our principle stages, we focus on incorporating user feedback to refine the product's features and functionalities in order to deliver a complete and carefully designed product.
Phase 2: Design
Based on our customer's requirements and their end clients' needs, we conceptualise and provide multiple design alternatives, keeping the customer always involved in the process in order to make a harmonic design of the product, integrating their brand language and marketing strategies.
Phase 1: Ideation
Supported by field studies and market research that we perform alongside our partners around the world, we are able to present multiple design alternatives that combine different technologies, which let us offer a flexible unit cost at an early stage. Moreover, we provide essential visuals and schematics to establish a proper understanding of the concept.
Phase 3: Engineering
Our engineers take care of the electronic engineering and coding of all internal software and protocols in order to materialise a product that is smart, robust, secure and reliable while taking into consideration cost optimization strategies and trade-offs. They have experience assembling products for developing countries that can withstand realistic environmental conditions.
Phase 4: Validation
We perform several rounds of mechanical and electronic tests that will assess the performance of the prototype, putting the product into operation in real scenarios with potential users to measure approval. In addition, we run external lab tests for specific metric measurements.
Phase 5: Manufacture
We perform several rounds of mechanical and electronic tests that will assess the performance of the prototype, putting the product into operation in real scenarios with potential users to measure approval. In addition, we run external lab tests for specific metric measurements.
